Privacy Policy

DroidTribe (“DroidTribe”, “we”, “us”) runs community-led meetups for Android developers. This site is a static archive of those meetups. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no forms and no comment system, so there is nothing here for you to hand us personal information through.

What we collect

Nothing directly. We run no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site, and we set no tracking cookies.

What your browser stores

If you pick a colour theme in the footer, your choice is saved in your browser's own local storage under the keydroidtribe-theme. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Hosting logs

This site is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives the requests your browser makes — including your IP address and user agent — and handles them underGitHub's privacy statement. We do not receive or store those logs.

Links to other services

Talk recordings link to YouTube, speaker names link to LinkedIn, and venues link to Google Maps. Following any of those links takes you to a service we do not control, with its own privacy policy and its own cookies. Nothing is loaded from those services until you choose to go there.

Photos of people

The meetup archive contains photographs taken at DroidTribe events, which include people who attended. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, emaildroidtribecommunity@gmail.comand we will take it down. You do not need to explain why.

Speaker details

For each talk we publish the speaker's name, talk title, photo and public profile link, with their agreement, so the archive credits their work. Speakers can ask us to change or remove their entry at any time.

Children

This site is aimed at working software developers and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. The full history of every change is public in the site's repository.
